Magnus Motorsports tuned GTR sets Time Attack track record

Congratulations to Kimi Qin for setting the CSCS time attack lap record at TMP circuit this past weekend with a 1:13.1 in his Magnus tuned2011 GTR.

Kimi’s GTR hosts runs a MAGNUS STAGE 2 package. A slew of Magnus parts including: Magnus custom dowpipes, Magnus custom Racing exhaust, and a special dose of Magnus Brand tuning. With careful parts selection and tuning, while still using the stock turbos, the Magnus crew was able to extract 600 hp and 640 ft lbs of tq from this beast!

The hardest Part about ‘building’ a car is making it work. Throwing parts at it is easy, but actually tuning and setting it up to race is the hard part. This is our specialty here at Magnus. Here we’re showing Gary how to get his 1000 hp AWD talon how to get up and go in a big hurry. Launching is a big part of the game, and getting it to happen perfectly is a fine art. After some quick tuning with the Motec at the far end of the track, and a few launches we got the driver used to the new launch control and sent him on his way. This is something you cant get from an internet forum. knowledge and experience from a pro.
