This diameter is precisely calibrated to your MAF sensor for your ECU, and can alter your vehicles state of tune, severely leaning out your engine. Our air intake uses our specially designed Mass air flow housing developed and manufactured in house to the precise inside dimensions of the OEM unit. This ensures precise calibrated readings to your ECU as the Mitsubishi engineers intended. One of the bonuses of our cold air intake kit is that, when you install it, your ECU does not need to be immediately retuned like our competitors products.
